Confirm the temple first
Mangalnath is a Shiva shrine beside the Shipra, traditionally associated with Mangal. Families also ask about Bhaat Puja at Angareshwar Mahadev. These are two different temples. Tell us if your pandit has recommended one specifically. Your booking should name the temple and the place where you will sit for the puja.
Ask the pandit to explain the vidhi
Explain why you have been advised to perform Mangal shanti. The pandit will discuss the sankalp, Mangal worship, Shiva abhishek and rice offering. Ask whether a havan is included. Angarak Shanti and other combined graha ceremonies are different bookings; do not assume they are included because the package says Mangal puja.
