You can book temple pujan directly
Mahakaleshwar temple management publishes its own pujan list and fees. You can book through the official temple portal. A private puja arranged by VayuDharma has a separate price for the pandit, materials, location and assistance you agree to. Check the details of both before comparing them; our private-service price is not the temple’s official tariff.
What the official page lists
The published list includes General Puja at ₹100, Vaidik Rudrabhishek by one Brahmin at ₹300 and Rudra Path with eleven avartan at ₹1,000. It also lists Laghu Rudrabhishek at ₹3,000, Maha Rudrabhishek at ₹15,000 and 1.25 lakh Mahamrityunjaya Jaap at ₹15,000. The page says the listed pujas up to ₹1,000 need a separate Sheeghra Darshan ticket. Recheck the official page when booking because fees and availability can change.
Ask about the puja location and entry
The temple committee decides where the pujan is performed. Do not assume a puja booking includes garbhagriha entry or touching the main Shivling. Bhasma Aarti registration is separate too. When booking a private ceremony, ask where you will sit, how many readings are included and which entry tickets, if any, you must arrange.
Published schedule checked 2 November 2026. Recheck the official portal when booking. These are temple fees, separate from VayuDharma’s private packages.
