Ganapati Puja & Havan
गणपति पूजा एवं हवनGanesh puja followed by mantra offerings into the havan fire and purnahuti.
Why is this puja performed?
You can arrange Ganapati Puja and Havan before a housewarming, marriage, business opening or another important family occasion. The puja is offered for a good beginning, wisdom and removal of obstacles. You worship Ganesh and then offer ahutis into the havan fire with the pandit.
Unlike a short archana, this puja includes a havan. Let us know where you want it held so we can check the space and arrangements.

How the puja is performed
The steps below explain what usually happens. Before you book, the pandit will confirm the readings, their number and any differences at your temple.
Sankalp and preparation
The pandit asks your names and the occasion, then helps you take the sankalp. The puja area and havan kund are prepared.
Ganapati worship
You worship Ganesh with water, sandal, durva, flowers, incense, a lamp and bhog, following the pandit’s instructions.
Ganesh mantra or stotra recitation
The pandit recites the Ganesh mantra or stotra included in your booking. Ask beforehand if you want Atharvashirsha or a special japa count.
Agni sthapana
The pandit establishes the havan fire and makes the opening offerings. He shows you how and when to offer your ahutis.
Ganapati havan offerings
You offer the prepared havan materials as the pandit recites Ganapati mantras. Other family members can join as arranged.
Purnahuti and aarti
The havan finishes with purnahuti. You then join the aarti, offer namaskar and receive prasad.
