Durga Saptashati Path

दुर्गा सप्तशती पाठ

Devi puja and a complete reading of all thirteen chapters of Durga Saptashati.

Gaya3–5 hoursEstimated from ₹15,000

Why is this puja performed?

Durga Saptashati Path is often arranged during Navratri or when a family wants to pray to Maa for protection and strength. The pandit reads the Goddess’s stories and hymns from all thirteen chapters. You can sit with your family and listen to the complete path.

One complete path includes all thirteen chapters. Ask which opening and closing prayers are included. A Chandi Havan is a separate booking unless it is listed in your puja.

When families arrange it

  • Navratri
  • A Devi sankalp for protection and strength
  • Your family’s puja or thanksgiving

How the puja is performed

The steps below explain what usually happens. Before you book, the pandit will confirm the readings, their number and any differences at your temple.

  1. Sankalp and puja arrangement

You take the sankalp for the complete path. The pandit arranges Maa’s image, the lamp and a kalash if it is part of the puja.

  2. Ganesh and Devi pujan

The puja begins with Ganesh remembrance and Devi worship. You offer flowers and join the prayer to Maa.

  3. Preparatory recitations

The pandit reads the Kavach, Argala, Keelak and any other opening texts included in the tradition being followed.

  4. All thirteen chapters

All thirteen chapters are read in order. You can listen or follow the book; tell us if you would also like a short Hindi explanation.

  5. Closing prayers to Devi

The pandit reads the closing prayers and asks forgiveness for any errors in the worship. Flowers and bhog are offered to Maa.

  6. Aarti and prasad

You join Devi aarti and receive prasad. If you have booked a Chandi Havan, we will give you its separate time and details.
